This post comes a little late, because we didn't go to the doctor until last Wednesday. He's 4 months! I think he's at a great stage. He isn't just a lump anymore (although, I enjoyed that lump) but he's still not mobile. I can still look away and he will be in the same spot.
At four months:
-rolling over both ways
-really interested in grabbing cups, food, anything at the table with us
-getting better at tummy time (thanks to daycare)
-wears size 1 disposable
-only takes a couple of short naps each day
-went through a week of terrible sleeping, but back on track now
-still wakes for a feeding in the middle of the night
-wears 3-6 month clothes for length
-takes 2 bottles (of pumped milk) during the week and nurses the rest of the time
-loves "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" while you move his arms
-likes to sit in the Bumbo, getting better at sitting in general
Length- 25.5 inches
Weight- 12 lbs, 7 ounces
I told you last month was unofficial. I think I weighed him dressed. However, he isn't gaining a lot of weight. We have to take him back next week for a weight check. If it doesn't look better, I will have to start supplementing with formula. This is very, very upsetting to me.... we're trying everything to make sure he's getting enough milk. He's happy, just not gaining. I could go into this more, but I won't for now.
